LANgrafix MEDIController

Privacy policy

Last updated: September 14, 2026

This policy describes how LANgrafix handles information through MEDIController, also called the LANgrafix FIERY Support Engine, and its Google-connected documentation worker, named LANgrafix FIERY Corpus Worker on the Google authorization screen. It covers this support application and worker; it does not describe unrelated LANgrafix retail transactions.

Information processed

The worker processes files and folders authorized for the support corpus, including document contents, file names and identifiers, folder relationships, controller and software-version information, source links, and document metadata. Processing can create file hashes, extracted text, OCR text from scanned pages, page references, search records, and processing status reports. Software-related file metadata may be inventoried; this does not mean uploaded software is executed.

MEDIController processes diagnostic questions, model and version selections, follow-up messages, and field resolutions submitted through supported features. Account or session identifiers may be used to enforce access. Hosting and automation providers may process IP addresses, timestamps, and technical logs needed to operate and secure the service. Please avoid submitting passwords, license keys, customer print-job contents, or unnecessary personal information.

Google Drive access and purpose

Google authorization is used to connect LANgrafix’s documentation corpus. The requested read permission can allow seeing and downloading all Drive files; the worker is configured to process the designated corpus folders. A separate app-file permission allows creating and managing files created by or explicitly authorized for this app. Generated documents, indexes, and processing records are stored in designated private output folders. These permissions are used to organize documentation, prevent duplicates, extract searchable text, and support cited technical answers. They are not used to make Drive files public.

AI processing and service providers

To produce a diagnostic response, the application sends the question, relevant conversation context, and selected retrieved evidence passages and metadata to the OpenAI API. This can include excerpts from private Drive documents. Retrieval and answer generation are different from training a model on the corpus. LANgrafix does not use Google API data to train or improve generalized AI or machine-learning models.

Google provides Drive storage and authorization. GitHub Actions runs collection and processing jobs, which may temporarily handle document contents and generate operational logs. OpenAI provides the hosted application and AI response processing. These providers process information necessary to supply their services under applicable service terms and data-handling arrangements; their retention can differ from LANgrafix’s active storage. Full manuals are not intended for publication in GitHub repositories or in public search results.

Use, disclosure, and access

LANgrafix uses information to deliver technical support, retrieve evidence, maintain the corpus, investigate errors, and protect the service. Private corpus access is restricted. Authorized support users may receive relevant excerpts and citations within their permitted access. LANgrafix does not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Any transfer of Google user data must remain within the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Disclosures may also occur where legally required or necessary to address security incidents, consistent with those requirements.

Authorized human review may occur when you request support or review of a submission, or when necessary for security or legal obligations. A field submission is not automatically a verified technical fact.

Retention and deletion

Corpus documents and derived records are retained while needed for the authorized support corpus, unless removed following a valid request or a change in authorization. There is currently no universal automatic deletion interval for all record types. Temporary worker files, operational logs, and provider backups have separate lifecycles. Retained backups or records required for legal or security purposes may outlast removal from active use.

To request access, correction, or deletion of information controlled by LANgrafix, email langrafixfiery@gmail.com. Identify the affected document or submission without sending credentials. LANgrafix may verify your authority before acting. A deletion request should cover derived text, OCR, and indexes as well as any stored document copy. Removing an original Drive file does not necessarily erase already-derived records.

Disconnecting Google and protecting information

You can revoke the worker’s access through Google Account connections. Revocation stops future authorized API access but does not automatically delete previously processed information. Contact LANgrafix for deletion. Credentials are handled as secrets; access controls and private storage are used to protect the corpus. No system can guarantee absolute security.
